ANNUAL MEETING: January 31, 6pm, Freeport Community Center
Come to Freeport Community Center, Depot Street, on January 31 at 6pm for the Freeport Players Pot Luck All-Cast Party (aka Annual Meeting). We'll celebrate the 2011 season, salute our volunteers, hear inspirational words from President and Minister of Fun Cole Tamminen, and look ahead to 2012. This event is open to anyone who has enjoyed a Players performance, has been involved with a production, or wants to be. We want to see all of you -- our friends -- there! BYOB, bring a dish to share.
RSVP to info@fcponline.org (optional but appreciated).
Thanks and congratulations to the cast & crew of The WFCP Home Time Radio Hour and all our productions in 2011
Radio VIII was a big success to cap off a year of big successes. Our audiences left with smiles on their faces and their toes tapping after being treated to another show packed with popular music and original comedy. Radio showcased the diversity that makes community theater great. From 12-year-old kids to 83-year-old veterans, from Maine natives to transplants, from theater near-novices to seasoned professionals, Radio had it all, proving once again that there is a place for everyone in the spotlight.
We salute the many old friends and new who made this year possible: the casts of Pirates of Penzance, The Foreigner, Chanson, and Radio; the directors, designers, stage managers and technicians who made the magic from behind the curtain; our Board of Directors; and our many volunteers who handled the unglamorous details so the show could go on. Without all of you this year would not have been such a delightful, magical experience.
See you all next year!

BECOME A SPONSOR
Freeport Community Players relies on the generous support of area businesses to -- as we say -- "keep the ticket prices low while we keep the quality high." In addition to our thanks, sponsors receive free tickets to share with employees and customers, ads in show programs, listings on posters and on our web site, and mention during the "curtain speech" at each show.

Freeport Players provides opportunities for local amateur actors to perform in roles often reserved for professionals. We involve members of our community in all aspects of the process, drawing on their talent and enthusiasm to create the "magic" of theater. Our volunteers are compensated for their time with fun, creative challenges, the chance to learn about the craft of theater, and, often, bonds of friendship that endure long after the curtain closes.
