FCP History
Freeport Community Players was formed in 1989 by a dedicated group of theater enthusiasts. Its mission is to provide opportunities for performers and audiences to enjoy the benefits of community theater and to promote performing arts in our community.
FCP strives to introduce the community to the broad range of styles and forms theater has to offer. FCP has staged over 75 productions, from musicals (most recently A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum) and operettas (Amahl & the Night Visitor) to light comedies (Fallen Angels) and classic dramas (Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?).
